Do you like to eat pizza?

During the weekends my dad, sister and I went to pak 'n' save to buy some groceries to eat. Before we left, we had to put our shoes on and change into our clothes because they were very dirty. After we got changed, we left the house. We went in my dad's small and grey car.

It only took us 22 seconds for us to get there because it was very close by. When we got to Pak 'n' save, my sister and I saw a lot of signs on the window. My dad sister and I got out of the car of the car and went inside. I went to get a trolley to put our groceries in. After I got the trolley, we went to get our groceries.

Before we got the groceries my dad headed back to our car to get his wallet from the car because he left it in there.When he got his wallet, we went to get the groceries.We picked some apples, bread, chicken, rice, tomato, tomato sauce, salt, ham, watermelon, fish, chips, fizzy drinks, lettuce, cabbage, weet bix, peanuts, chocolate bar, Le snack, cookies and crackers. These were all our favourite food.

When we picked out all of the food that we wanted, my dad went to pay for them at the counter. While my dad was paying for the groceries, my sister and I were talking about snow. Soon we took all of the groceries back to the car. When we came to the car my dad opened the boot and my sister and I gently put the groceries in the car. So that we didn't break anything.

After we gently put the groceries in the car, we went to Dominoes pizza because we wanted to get some more food to eat. Dominoes pizza was right next to Pak 'n' Save so it only took us 10 seconds to get there. When we got to Dominoes pizza, my dad ordered the pizzas. He purchased four pizzas, three Hawaiian and one pepperoni.

It took along time for the pizza to be ready, so we went for a little drive around Glen Innes. After we drove around Glen Innes. once My dad went inside to check if the pizzas were ready but it was. Soon after though, the pizza was ready and my dad gave it to my sister to hold because he could trust her to hold it then we headed home.

I had a fantastic time going to the shops with my dad and my sister. I enjoyed going to the shops with my family because I get to see a lot of selection of food.

Learning intention: We are learning to use the correct structure of a recount.
Success criteria: I know I can do this when I write the orientation, followed by the events and then the conclusion.
