Do you know the rules for Rippa Rugby?
Learning intention: We are learning to write a recount.
Success criteria: I know I can do this when I follow the structure of a recount and write an introduction, followed by the activities and a conclusion of our second Rippa Rugby lesson.
On Friday 8th of April, Room 7 and I went to the field to play Rippa rugby for Kiwi sports. Our coach's name is Hamish.
Before we started the game, coach Hamish told us to put on the Velcro belts and two rippas on either side of our hips. After we put them on, we went into a marked border and played a game when we had to try to rip of the rippa off our classmate's hips. After that, Hamish put us into three groups and told us to stand behind the cone. Coach Hamish told us to pass the ball to each other and out there names. Room 7 had a lot of fun
playing Rippa Rugby.
After we all said, ''Thank you!'' to coach Hamish and went back to class feeling very stinky and sweaty.
