Galapagos Islands!

My group and I were learning about the Galapagos Islands. Galapagos is a very hot island because it is very close to the Equator Line.
This is what I have learnt so far about Galapagos Island:
  • In Galapagos island there are so many creatures and animals that live there, like big turtles, blue-footed boobies, red-footed boobies, seals, Iguanas, fire ants, birds, crabs and many more.
  • In 1973, workers were sent to Pita Island to get rid of goats because they were destroying a lot of plants.
  • Sea lions live on almost every island, which will be really cool to see a lot of sea lions.
  • Galapagos means tortoise in old Spanish.
How do I feel about all the tortoises getting killed?
I feel heartbroken because if all the tortoises were killed they will be extinct.
Lonesome George:
  • Lonesome George is a Male tortoise and was the only tortoise to survive about years ago.

Dictation-Atitude

The longer I live the more I realise the impact of attitude on life.
Attitude to me, is more important than facts, it is more then the past, then education, then money, then circumstances, then failures, then success, then what other people think or say or do.
It is more important appearance giftedness or skills.
It will make or brake accompany...a church...a home.
The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.
We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We only change the envitable.
The only thing we can do is to play on one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it, and so it is with you...we are in charge of our attitude.
